The QME – 30 is a versatile inshore skimmer that features an onboard transfer pump, and utilizes brush, disk, or drum banks to recover oil. The skimmer is based on Queensboro Marine’s OHMSETT tested skimmer, the QME – 25, and was originally developed for use by Marine Spill Response Corporation (MSRC). Its design takes into account the nature of spill response conditions and incorporates many features meant to improve oil recovery, skimmer deployment/operation, decontamination, and reusability. Emphasis has also been placed on material and component selection to ensure a high quality oil recovery system.

The skimmer system comes complete with a hydraulic control panel, onboard pump, and hydraulic and transfer hose bundle.
